Day 1- Cairo – Saint Catherine ( 460 km )
Drive from Cairo to Saint Catherine in a private car.
1ST stop before Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel in EL-Suez(( 140 km )) from
Cairo. This tunnel connects mainland EGYPT and Sinai.
2ND stop in Moses' springs (which consist of water springs and
palm trees) located there since the time of the messenger Moses.
Arrive at Saint Catherine. Dinner.
Climb Moses' mountain, on which Moses received the ten commandments
(2285 mt) at 1:30 am, about 3 hours to climb the mountain to
watch the sunrise from the top of the mountain.
Day 2- Saint Catherine – Cairo
After breakfast visit Saint Catherine monastery at 9:30 am. It
is situated at the foot of Sinai mountain; It is similar to
fortress from the Middle Ages. Inside the monastery, there are
various buildings dating back to different time periods. Departure to Cairo.
