Itinerary in details

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrival at Cairo airport, assistance during entry visa formalities. Transfer and overnight in the hotel in Cairo.

Day 2: Visit of Cairo
After breakfast, the excursion programme starts with the Egyptian Museum. Then you visit the Pyramides of Gizeh and the Sphinx. Night in the hotel in Cairo.

Day 3: Cairo -  Luxor
visit of the Sakkarah necropolis. The visit leads us then towards the Islamic part of Cairo. The Citadel with its alabaster Mosque control in an impressive way the profile of the city transfer to the train station of Cairo and embarkation on the sleeping train to Luxor. Dining and overnight on board of the train 
 
Day 4: Luxor
Breakfast on board of the train and arrival in Luxor. Transfer to the hotel, Visits of the Karnak Temples and the Luxor Temple. Free afternoon in Luxor. Visit of the Theban Necropolis: the Kings' Valley, the Queen Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossuses of Memmon Night in the hotel in Luxor

Day 5: Luxor - Esna
After breakfast, departure to Esna and then beginning of the navigation in direction of El Hegz. Night on board.  

Day 6: Esna - Edfu
Navigation to El Kab. Visits: Temples of Hathor and Horus, the village and the "Belgian house", jewel of Arab architecture. Lunch on board during navigation to Edfu. Visit of the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus. Barbecue on Island of Fawaza. Night on board.  

Day 7: Fawaza Island - Djebel Silsileh - Maniha Island
Navigation to Farès. Visit of the gardens, Djebel Silsileh and barbecue dinner on the Maniha Island. Night on board.

Day 8: Maniha Island- Kom ombo
Navigation to Kom Ombo where you will visit the market and the Temple of Sobek. Evening on the Cobania Island. Night on board.

Day 9: Kom Ombo - Aswan - Cairo
Navigation to Aswan. Transfer to the hotel in Aswan. In the afternoon, pleasant walk by felucca around the Elephantine Island. In the evening, light and sound show at Philae Temple (optional). Transfer to Aswan train station and return by sleeping train to Cairo. Dining and overnight on board the train.
 
Day 10: Departure from Cairo (*)
Transfer to the airport in Cairo and return flight.
